Introduction

Meadowview Cottage is a self-catering cottage.

The cottage is a barn conversion completed in 2006 to a high standard, being of mainly stone construction some parts dating back to the 1700s and located on the outskirts the small hamlet of Trelash.

The cottage is a single story building access to the gardens and sauna area without steps

Pre-Arrival

• Our website offers a video showing the inside of the cottage, along with various slide shows covering both inside and outside of the cottage
• Bookings / enquiries can be made via email, fax or phone
• Directions can be printed off from our web site in the Location page
• Your own transport is essential
• You can arrange for an ASDA home delivery service to the cottage link on our web site
• On your arrival you will be greeted by the owners Debbie & Roger Bolt

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• There is parking spaces for three cars out side the cottage on private ground
• The surface is flat gravel / stone leading on to patio slabs
• Lighting to this area is by a sensor light

Main Entrance & Reception

• There are two doors to access the cottage, the first door is via a slope the door being 90cm wide with a disabled type threshold, the second door is reached by a pathway with a gentle slope the door being 90cm wide with a wood threshold 40mm
• All paths leading to the cottage are well lit

Laundry

• There is no separate laundry but there is a 7 KG washing machine in the cottage, with a 7 KG dryer located in the log cabin, both are at floor level and are front loading

Leisure Facilities

• Sauna and exercise room accessed via outside garden pathways leading to the log Cabin, the door being 78.5cm with a 112mm threshold the door to the sauna room being 52cm with a 6cm threshold
• The exercise equipment includes a rowing machine and exercise bike
• Also located in the exercise area is a shower with a 75mm step

Outdoor Facilities

• Outdoor children’s play area accessed via chippings / gravel pathways
• Park area and equipment inspected by R.O.S.P.A on an annual basis

Bedrooms

• Bedroom 1 accessed from hallway 815mm in width leading to two steps 180mm by 200mm no hand rail
• Bedroom 1- 6ft zip n link divan bed. Door width 66cm
• All bedrooms have / non-Feather duvets and pillows provided.
• Sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are cotton
• Freeview TVs provided in the bedrooms with remote control
• Bed is movable if more space is required to one side
• Bedroom 2 accessed from the same hallway via a 76cm door
• Floor area all on 1 level other than bedroom 1
• flooring in hallways and bedrooms being of 1 type short piled beige carpet
• Bedroom 2 offers a 5 foot double divan bed
• Bedroom 3 offers twin 3 foot divan beds
• there are smoke alarms in the kitchen and hallway; alarm sound only ,alarm procedure detailed in welcome pack

• Door width 79cm
• Bath with flexible shower over
• Toilet seat height 45cm
• Flooring is lino, non slip
• Release mechanism on outside of locked door

Self-Catering Kitchen

• Kitchen open plan with Dining room
• Worktop height 90cm.
• Oven door is drop down
• Sink is 90cm high with cupboards underneath
• Hob is 90cm high and halogen
• Flooring is Polished slate
• Evenly lit kitchen with lights above work surfaces where required
• Good contrast between floor, cupboards and other surfaces

Grounds and Gardens

• Garden 1 with covered decking area, level and no steps
• Garden 2 sloping path to patio area, grass lawns
