Camel Cycle Trail (35 minutes)
The Camel Trail is a free 18 mile cycle way which runs from Bodmin to Padstow and passes through Wadebridge. You will enjoy some of the most spectacular countryside in the south west. You can take your own bikes with you or hire from www.bridgebikehire.co.uk.

This lovely cycle route passes right through our little hamlet. If you can't bring your own bikes Bridge Bike Hire will deliver bikes to the cottage for the duration of your stay or just for a day or two. We can also take you with your bikes to any location allowing you to cycle back to the cottage.

Launceston (20 minutes)
Launceston was the county capital until 1838. A visit to Launceston Castle ruins is well worth it. There are stunning views from the top of the Castle. The town itself comprises ancient narrow streets surrounding the main town square. Among the many interesting Georgian buildings is Lawrence House in Castle Street - now a museum of local history. Castle, swimming pool, museum, steam railway, riding stables, paintball and golf.
